PEI Members of Legislative Assembly (MLAs), grouped by Zodiac sign

A light-hearted project, inspired by a tweet (since deleted).

Conceived for levity during a pandemic, this project also serves as a provocative thought-experiment with respect to how we perceive unity and division.

Discussion Topics

• Update June 2023: Though we have many MLAs with unknown signs, there may continue to be no Taurus MLAs on PEI. Who speaks for the Bulls?
• The dominant sign is Scorpio. Are Scorpio traits a match for provincial politics?
• The dominant element is Water. How fitting for the Island?!
• Imagine an MLA with whom you differ on political views. If you discover you share the same Zodiac sign, does that alter your perception? Does it humanize them (even if you still disagree with their stance)?
